Current Medicare Telehealth Flexibilities Set to Expire on March 31 Without Congressional Action

02/24/2025

Congress is once again quickly approaching a telehealth cliff. Without passing additional legislation, current medical Medicare telehealth flexibilities will expire on March 31.

While telehealth remains a bipartisan priority and flexibilities are widely expected to be continued, it is competing against numerous other Congressional priorities, including budget reconciliation, and a government funding deadline of March 14. It’s critical Congress is consistently reminded of the value of telehealth.

This is an important moment to contact your Members of Congress and help us secure RHC telehealth reimbursement and billing fixes in the next extension.

The NARHC DC team continues to push for these policy changes on Capitol Hill, but itis much more powerful for legislators to hear directly from their constituents. Your voice is crucial in helping them understand the urgency of these policy fixes. The deadline is approaching, so please take 30 seconds and use this tool to message your Members of Congress.

Your efforts make a difference.
